What shall I wear to lessons?

As a beginner for the first few lessons you can wear what ever gym wear you feel most comfortable in i.e.; jogging bottoms, leggings, ¾ lengths or shorts with a t-shirt or vest top.

But as you progress you will need to wear shorts as you will need to have more skin on the pole to help you grip the pole.

How many people are there to a pole?

On average we only have 2 people to a pole.

Do I need to be strong and/or have any dance back ground to start?

No, not at all. That’s what we are here for. Our main aim in classes is to help build up your strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination.

How long are the classes and what do they involve?

Classes are 1 hour 15 mins long and involve, warm up, strength exercise, new moves and transitions which we sometimes combine to create new routines.

What kind of people attend pole fitness classes? 

Pole fitness is suitable for all ages, sizes, abilities and fitness levels.

What should I NOT wear to pole classes?

 It’s important that you do not apply any type of moisturizer as it can transfer to the pole and stops you from gripping the pole which becomes dangerous for you and anyone else using the same pole.
